EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE GRANTS

WHAT IS AN EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE GRANT?

An emergency assistance grant is a one-time grant that can be given out to individuals/households as a result of a disaster or emergency hardship.

Grants are not loans. They do not need to be paid back.

WHY ARE THE GRANTS LIMITED TO $250?

In order to assist as many people as possible, the emergency assistance grants have been limited to $250.

WHY DO YOU NEED CONTACT INFORMATION FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN VOUCH FOR MY NEED FOR EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE?

The Mishpocha Charitable Fund is required to prove that grant recipients truly need assistance. Contact information for any person that does not live in your household who can vouch for your situation is acceptable.
