HARDSHIP ASSISTANCE GRANTS
WHAT IS A HARDSHIP ASSISTANCE GRANT?
A hardship assistance grant is a one-time grant that can be given out to individuals/households facing financial difficulties.
Grants are not loans. They do not need to be paid back.
WHY ARE THE GRANTS LIMITED TO $250?
In order to assist as many people as possible, the emergency assistance grants have been limited to $250.
WHY DO APPLICATIONS NEED A REFERRAL?
The Mishpocha Charitable Fund is required to prove that grant recipients truly need assistance. As a result, each application must include the completed page that requires a signature from a social worker, religious official, teacher, etc.
GENERAL
WHERE DO THE FUNDS FOR THE GRANTS COME FROM?
The funds for the grants come almost entirely from the generosity of one family.
DO YOU ACCEPT DONATIONS?
Yes. All donations to The Mishpocha Charitable Fund are tax-deductible. Currently, we can accept donations online or in the form of checks that can be sent to:
